Our work in parliament
Our work in parliament – overview
Universities UK works on behalf of members to maintain strong relationships with political parties in parliament and to influence policy change.
Political Affairs Network
Universities UK’s Political Affairs Network provides regular information on what’s happening in Westminster, the big issues being debated in parliament, and advice on ways for our members to engage with committees and inquiries.
All-Party Parliamentary University Group
The group enables communication between parliamentarians and university vice-chancellors, and provides a forum for discussing issues affecting the country’s university sector.
Parliamentary briefings and submissions
We produce parliamentary briefings on a range of subjects based on the current legislative programme, our policy priorities and campaigns.
