The purpose of the series is to build mutual knowledge and understanding of the respective higher education systems, to identify opportunities to build new university collaborations and to give UK and Polish institutions an opportunity to meet and network. It is open to UK and Polish university staff working in roles relevant to each session (see descriptions below).

The opening session will include opening remarks from the British Ambassador to Poland and Polish Ministry of Education and Science and presentations on the Polish higher education landscape and funding system. This session is aimed at UK universities colleagues with strategic oversight of international partnerships and collaboration, or those who are interested in attending any of the other thematic sessions. The session is aimed at EU and international research managers and academic staff. The session will provide information about funding opportunities for UK-Poland research collaboration through the Horizon Europe programme, previous examples of successful UK-Polish projects in Horizon 2020, and funding schemes for international research collaboration available through UKRI and the Polish Education and Science Ministry. This session is aimed at colleagues in international partnerships and academic staff with experience of, or who are interested in, developing new UK-Poland TNE partnerships. The first part of the session will provide information about TNE collaboration opportunities, including a presentation from Coventry University about their campus in Wroclaw, and the second will involve networking between institutions in small groups.
