The Withdrawal Agreement and the transition period. What does it all mean for higher education and research?
12 Feb 2020, 13:30 - 14:30
Register
to join Universities UK International (UUKi) in a live webinar on Wednesday 12 February 2020 from 1.30 – 2.30 pm (GMT).
The webinar will be hosted by UUKi's Head of European Engagement,
Anne-May Janssen
, and is in collaboration with the UK Science and Innovation Network.
With the ratification of the Withdrawal Agreement by the UK Parliament and the European Parliament, UK’s exit from the EU will become a reality on 31 January 2020. The agreement ensures that the UK and EU enter a transition period that lasts until 31 December 2020. In this webinar, UUKi together with the FCO Science and Innovation Network and UKRO will discuss what the Withdrawal Agreement entails and what the agreement and the transition period effectively mean for UK and European higher education and research sectors. Please join us on 12 February 2020 from 13.30 – 14.30 UK time for the latest information. You can register here.
Previous episodes in the webinar series are available to watch now on the
UUKi YouTube channel.
