| Dr Esther Wilkinson Head of International, Jisc Dr Esther Wilkinson is a specialist in international education in the UK, and the Head of International at Jisc, the body powering the UK’s higher and further education’s teaching, learning and research and inspiring its digital transformation. Esther leads Jisc’s international strategy and strategic development of Jisc’s transnational education support programme. Esther has worked in various roles in higher education, as Assistant Director at Universities UK International; the UK Research Councils for over 13 years; the Open University and a brief spell as a police officer. Esther has a BSc Hons, DIC and PhD in Chemistry from Imperial College, London.

Associate Professor, Swansea University
Dr Paul M Holland is an associate professor in the College of Engineering at Swansea University. Paul was Dean of Educational Technology between 2017 and 2019, where he led the Swansea University Blended Learning Pilot, coordinated the introduction of new active learning studios and helped colleagues write a specification for the new VLE. Now a Principal Fellow of the HEA, Paul is Head of the Learning and Teaching Enhancement Centre in the College of Engineering and works holistically across a range of areas to improve student learning and experience.

Her current focus is on the Growing Comms project, about enhancing collaboration between HE and FE using Active Classrooms and Collaborative Communication Platforms. With a background in Industrial Engineering and Innovation Management, Noémi has worked as Innovation Project Manager for a key French research centre (CEA Tech) handling partnership projects with industrial companies as well as the deployment of internal communication and collaboration platforms. During this experience, she developed a taste for innovative projects involving new technologies.

Dr Vangelis Tsiligiris (FHEA, FCMI) is a Principal Lecturer at Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University and a Visiting Professor at Birmingham City University. He has broad experience in European transnational education (TNE) and internationalisation of higher education. Over a period of 15 years, he developed and managed several European universities’ overseas partnerships. Vangelis is an experienced researcher in the area of international higher education where he has published extensively in academic journals and books and presented his works in several international conferences. He has acted as advisor to the Maltese government on the internationalisation of higher education, and he has conducted high-profile research consultancy projects for the British Council, Universities UK International, and NAFSA. In 2016, Vangelis founded the TNE-Hub (www.tnehug.org) an international network of researchers and practitioners in international higher education.

| Paul Feldman,
Chief Executive, Jisc
Paul Feldman has been chief executive of Jisc since mid-October 2015. He currently sits on the GÉANT (European association of NRENS and connecting infrastructure) board of directors and the HEANet (Eire’s NREN). Before joining Jisc Paul was most recently an executive partner at Gartner UK, a technology research and advisory firm. He spent over 20 years in financial services at Nationwide Building Society, Barclays Bank and First Data EMEA, both in IT and business roles. He has also worked in knowledge-based IT companies including Thomson Reuters Legal UK and the Intellectual Property Office.

| Susan Oakes,
Head of Libraries, The University of Law
Susan Oakes has worked at the University of Law as Head of Libraries for the past 4 years and has led the library through a considerable time of change, centred largely around the implementation of new technology for both staff and students. Her Library team won a Special Recognition student award in 2018 in part for engaging students in this process. Susan has worked for a number of years in Library and knowledge management roles in Law firms and has been largely concerned with supporting the change to new ways of accessing resources and knowledge via technology.
